I know it’s still summer and there is nothing about summer that makes you want to think about your college applications, but trust me, now is exactly the right time to get started.
Follow along as I give you a brief tour of what to expect on your Common App. Before you begin your application, you should have your transcripts with you and a parent nearby who can help you answer some of the questions in the family section.
I always tell kids that their senior year won’t truly be fun until second semester, because, honestly, all of the college applications are time consuming and a little nerve wracking.
You can do a lot to ease some of the school year burden by getting started on your Common App during these summer days.
